Tuesday was an E-learning day. I hope you all enjoyed the activities and songs I posted for our Sports Day!
Wednesday we continued our ‘S’ week with Space Day. We also celebrated Madison’s birthday! We started the day practicing writing our first and last names. For morning centers, we wrote upper and lower case S, did an alphabet activity, and a beginning sound activity. We also did space patterns and played in a sensory bin filled with kinetic sand, moon rocks, planets, and stars. In afternoon centers, we did an S cutting page, sorted capital and lower case letters, practiced our counting, did a Space cutting page and played a Snowman counting game. At the end of the day, we did makeup work and I started evaluating for the middle of the year. It is so fun to see how much they have grown!
Thursday we had Superhero day. We also celebrated Cora’s birthday! We started the day with a superhero coloring page. For morning centers, we did a superhero writing page, Spider Man matching game, Color by number and a superhero cutting project. For art, we made superheros with the letter S. They turned out so cute! At the end of the day, we made superhero masks and read some stories! See you next week for W week 🙂
