This week was W week. Tuesday was Winter Wonderland. I hope you enjoyed all the videos and activities for your child to do on this snow day/ e-learning day.

Wednesday was Wacky Watermelon Day. We started the day coloring a watermelon page. In morning centers, we practiced writing upper and lowercase W, did ten frame numbers, push pin watermelons for fine motor, and made W’s with rubber bands on geo boards. In afternoon centers, we did our art project we missed from art class (which was a hand print polar bear), did our W cutting page, finished our push pin watermelons, and did a W connect the dots with numbers. At the end of the day, we did our makeup work and evaluations. We ended the day with story time.

Thursday was Wonderful Weather day. We started the day practicing writing our first and last names. In morning centers, we made snowmen with shapes, did a sequencing build a snowman page, did a tornado ten frame page, and mitten match game. In afternoon centers, we did a snowman counting game, a maze of W’s, wrote about our favorite thing to do when it’s cold outside, and finished our snowman shapes. At the end of the day, we did snowflake dot painting and had story time. See you next week for our “I” week, Igloos, indoor ice skating, and ice cream!
