This week we learned about the letter G. Tuesday was growing gardens day. We started the day practicing writing our first and last names. In morning centers, we practiced writing upper and lowercase Gs, played with letter car tracks, found the numbers game, and a G is for giraffe magnet activity. In afternoon centers, we did a G cutting page, a gray color page, played with gems in kinetic sand, and made Gs on geo boards. At the end of the day, we planted grass seeds!

Wednesday was gumball day. We started the day finding all the Gs. In centers, we did our March writing sample, did a find and color G page, counted and rolled for gumballs, and counted and found the number of gumballs. For specials we watched our Zoo Phonics video and practiced our letter cards. At the end of the day, we did a color by number and had story time.

Thursday was wear green day. We celebrated an early St. Patricks day with some of our activities. To start the day, we colored a pot of gold and rainbow. In centers we did a G is for green page, our G letter review page, a St patricks day ISPY, and played with gold coins in shaving cream! This was messy fun. For art, we made a gumball machine and did our handprints for our grandparent gift. See you next week for U week!
