This week was G week. Tuesday was Grandparents Day. I hope all the Grandmas and Grandpas enjoyed the show! We started the day reading books with friends. Then we performed for our Grandparents. In centers, we did an ABC maze, a grandma and grandpa color by number, beginning letter match game, and played with magnets. At the end of the day, we got to play with friends.

Wednesday was Gumball day. We started the day playing with toys with our friends. In centers, we wrote upper and lowercase G, counted gumballs, used paint dabbers to make gumballs on the letter G, and did our G cutting page. In Specials, we sang our Zoo Phonics song and played charades. At the end of the day, we made gumball machines.

Thursday was Garden day and we wore green. We also celebrated Khamari’s birthday. We started the day writing our first and last names. In morning centers, we did our G letter review page, colored upper and lowercase G on grapes, found all the G’s, and played in a garden sensory bin. In afternoon centers, we planted our grass seeds, colored a G for green page, played a St. Patrick’s day I spy game, and put magnets on the letter G. At the end of the day, we did our March writing and coloring sample while listening to music. We ended the day with story time and talking about Flat Stanley. Enjoy your Spring Break!
