This week was review week at ABC Christian. Tuesday we reviewed the letters MNOP and Q. We also wore camo for boot camp week. We started the day writing our names and numbers for N. In centers, we did magnetic letters for M, an opposites puzzle for O, played with pop its for P, and started our bootcamp books. In the afternoon we had graduation practice. In art class, we made bookmarks for our moms for Mother’s Day and did a Q for queen craft. We ended the day with story time.
Wednesday we reviewed the letters RSTU and V. We started the day playing toys with friends. In centers, we did a rhyming puzzle for R, sight words for S, Turkey trot game for T, and a V color cut and glue. In the afternoon we had graduation practice. At the end of the day, we continued working on our bootcamp books.
Thursday was our camping day. We reviewed letters WXY and Z. We started the day coloring a camping page. We also celebrated Everly’s birthday. In centers, we made playdoh W’s, an X maze, wrote Y’s and Z’s on dry erase boards, and made camping bookmarks. In the afternoon we had graduation practice. At the end of the day, we got to have story time inside a tent! We had a fake bonfire, “roasted” marshmallows, and sang songs. The kids had so much fun!
See you next week for our last week of school. We have some fun plans, field day, 100th day, and PJ day for our last day. Our graduation is coming up on May 21st at 6:00, kids need to be there at 5:15.
