This week we continued to review the letters that we learned throughout the year.

On Tuesday, we reviewed the letters Cc, Ii, Ss and Xx. We also had our camping day at ABC. For morning centers, we played a counting caterpillar game, played an ice cream I-spy game, matched upper-and lower-case ABC with a superhero theme, and matched the correct x-ray with the animal by looking through magnifying glasses. In the afternoon, we wrote or last name for our evaluations and did some more evaluating for the end of the year. At the end of the day, we had camping fun!!! We sang songs around a “pretend” campfire, read books while sitting in the tent and had a camping scavenger hunt. We also released our butterflies!!!!

On Wednesday, we reviewed the letters Dd, Hh, Ll and Vv. For morning centers, we did dinosaur tanagrams, played a veggie I-spy game, matched our ABCs with a heart theme and did a “When I grow up….” creative writing. For afternoon centers, we played and put together magnetic vehicles, practiced our letters on LED tablets, made letters out of pop-its, and made buildings out of Legos. At the end of the day, we had fun in the big room with Mrs. Leslie’s class.

On Thursday, we reviewed the letters Ee, Gg and Uu. For morning centers, we made ten frames out of emojis, cut with scissors for our evaluations, matched the beginning sounds with a seashell theme and put the correct number of beads on the flower stem that the flower said. For afternoon centers, we turned off the lights and had centers in the dark. We made shapes with the geoboards, made things out of # manipulatives, wrote on a light table and played with Lite Brites. We had a great time!!!!

Also, this week, we started to practice for graduations with Mrs. Trish.

Until next week,
