This week was T week. Tuesday was T is for turkey day. We started the day coloring a turkey. For morning centers, we practiced writing upper and lowercase T, Found all the T’s, counted turkeys on a fence, and did a T connect the dots page. In afternoon centers, we played a Turkey Trot game, did a turkey tips page, did a color by letter page, and counted with turkey feathers. For art, we made turkey hand prints to give to their families for Thanksgiving. We ended the day with story time.

Wednesday was Triangles and Transportation day. We started the day reading books with friends. For morning centers, we traced letters with toy cars, did our T cutting page, transportation patterns, and traced shapes with toy cars. In the afternoon, we had specials. For Zoo phonics, we watched our video and practiced our letter sounds, animals, and motions. At the end of the day, we played with transportation toys and did any makeup work.

Thursday we wore brown and talked about what we are thankful for. To start the day, we played with our friends. In morning centers we drew about what we are thankful for, did our T letter review page, drew feathers on turkeys, and played a turkey game. In afternoon centers, we started making our thankful turkeys and counted pumpkins and turkeys. At the end of the day, we made gratitude bracelets and talked about each person, place, thing, and book we are thankful for. At the end of the day we had story time.
