Daily Devotions:

Centers this week:
We did 1:1 correspondence, along with fine motor, using number clip cards
We linked shapes together, making chains
We traced shapes on quick kits
We moved water from one container to the other, using eye droppers
We built using magna tiles
We colored the #9 for our N ABC page
We made uppercase N, using mini peg boards
We put number magnets on letter N
We practiced tracing & writing our names
We made noodle necklaces
Art/Other:
On Monday & Tuesday, we packed our Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes together. Each child had the opportunity to put several different items in the boxes, we talked about the meaning behind it, & prayed over the boxes as a class.
In art, we made name trains. We glued a train, followed by the letters in our first names on a sentence strip. They are super cute, & the kids had a great time making them!

Last week, I sent home “quick kits” with you child’s name on them. Please utilize these to help your child learn to trace &/or write their name. I know this can be a bit of a challenge, but it’s always helpful to have them practice their writing grip, even if they don’t quite master writing their name. 🙂 Thank you!
