This week we focused on all things fall, the letter O and the color orange.

For Centers:

We worked on our fine motor skills by using eye droppers to mix red and yellow together to make the color orange.  We also used our rubber band boards to make shapes and did some fall lacing cards.

We used fall themed cookie cutters and cut shapes out of play doh with them.

We used our fall/farm sensory bin and did some alphabet matching with pumpkins.

We colored and octopus orange for our O ABC page.

We used magnets on the white board to do an O letter find.

We used orange play doh to make the letter O

We used magnetic chips and wands on our O is for Octopus quick kits.

We practiced tracing and writing our names.

For Art:

We did a really cute and fun owl project. The kids glued all the pieces of their owl together.

Our M/W kids did some handprint art. (Our T/Th kids will do this project later in the month)

Big Room:

We had fun in the big room dancing, playing with toys, playing with our ribbons and using scooters. All in all the kids had a great week.

Hope all the kids had fun at the pumpkin patch! It was great seeing you all..

Have a great weekend!
