ART/Other:
We did a farm following directions activity. This is something we do at the beginning of each year to evaluate listening, color recognition/coloring skills, as well as their ability to follow a given direction. We read a story about a farm, which gives directions directions along the way, to tell the child what to color (the barn, the cow, etc) & what color to use. We will do this exact activity again in May to compare the two & see their progress.
We did a Spookley art project-gluing small orange squares on a larger black square, adding a stem, a leaf, and eyes to create their own square pumpkin. They turned out super cute!
Until Next Week,
Mrs. Kelli
