This week we learned about the letter P. Tuesday was pretend pizza day. We started the day reading books with friends. In centers, we practiced writing upper and lowercase P, did our P cutting page, colored a color by number pizza, and played with picasso tiles. For art, we made pretend pizzas! We also did a color by shape pizza. At the end of the day, we played the riddle game and had story time.
Wednesday was PJs and popcorn day! We started the day practicing writing our names. We had specials and rotated through Spanish, Science, Sign Language, and Phonics. We watched the Zoophonics video for Phonics and reviewed the letters we learned so far in school. After lunch, we watched Spookley and ate popcorn! In afternoon centers, we did our P letter review page, a popcorn game, pop it numbers, and played with pink and purple Play-Doh.
Thursday we had our field trip to the pumpkin patch! We had so much fun and I hope you all did too 🙂
