This week was O week. We started Tuesday with “Observing the outdoors” day. In the morning we played toys with friends and then we had circle time. In morning centers, we practiced writing upper and lowercase O, did our O cutting page, played a roll add color game, and made leaves with paint dabbers. In the afternoon, we went outside and observed the outdoors on a nature walk. Then we came back inside to do a colors of fall book together as a class. For art, we used cotton balls to paint leaves on trees for Fall. We ended the day with a Scoopie meet and greet. It was great to see a lot of you at the Culver’s Night 🙂

Wednesday was our field trip to the pumpkin patch. We had so much fun!

Thursday was owls and ovals day. We started the day practicing writing our first names. In morning centers, we did our October writing and coloring sample, did an owl lettering matching game, circle the big picture sheet, and matched the opposites. In afternoon centers, we did our O letter review page, colored an orange page, did an opposites puzzle, and made circles and ovals. At the end of the day, we played games with friends and had story time. See you next week for P week, pumpkins, Harvest Party, PJ day and Spookley movie!
