This week, we focused on the letter R, & we had our Harvest Party!
Daily Devotions:
“The Power of Love”-Ephesians 3:19
“More Than We Can Imagine”-Ephesians 3:20
“Making a Friend”-Ephesians 4:2
“Forgiving One Another”-Ephesians 4:32
Books we read:
Rainbow Fish to the Rescue
Centers:
We strung spider rings on small dowel rods
We sorted different Halloween themed erasers (pumpkins, spiders, cats, etc,)
We colored a fire truck for our F ABC page
We traced & colored pumpkins
We played with orange play-doh
We colored an uppercase R red for our R ABC page
We used a rainbow salt tray to do tracing, and reveal a rainbow
We did a rainbow color sorting, and fine motor activity
We used paint dabbers to make a rainbow fish
We did a letter Rr find on quick kits
ART/Other:
We did our monthly name tracing/writing & drawing
We had our Harvest Parties on Monday & Tuesday! We played games, decorated a treat bag with stamps and stickers, and had a snack where we got to decorate our own cookie with candies! Afterwards, we went Trick -or-Treating! We had lots of fun & we loved seeing all the kids in their adorable costumes! Thank you to all the parents, grandparents, etc., for your help at the parties &/ or donating! We appreciate you!
*Thursday morning, the Lake Hills Fire Dept. visited with our morning Preschoolers, due to the fact that they had a call last week at their original scheduled time. We got to learn about 9-1-1, ‘stop, drop, & roll’, having a meeting place, etc. We also got to check out all the cool stuff on the fire truck & even got to go in it!
