Happy October! This week, we focused on 2 new letters, O & P

Devotions this week:
1 Corinthians-13:4, 13:5, 13:7, & 14:1
Centers this week:
We colored an octopus orange for our Oo ABC page
We did an O letter find
We formed orange playdoh into an O shape
We practiced our fine motor skills by doing our # clip cards
We used rubber band boards to practice our fine motor skills
We did a fun “pancake flip” activity
We did a “pancake” shape match
We colored a pumpkin pink & purple for our Pp ABC page
We put pink & purple pom poms on letter Pp
We did a pig & pancake coloring page
ART/Other:
We made a super cute owl art project
We did our monthly coloring & writing sample
We also ate a yummy pancake snack!
NOTES:
It’s great to practice fine motor skills at home. Please allow your child to take some time several days per week to cut & color. Other fun ideas are to play with playdoh, use sticker books, string beads, or use any kind of writing utensil (markers, tub crayons, sidewalk chalk, etc) Always make sure they are using the correct 3-finger grasp. 🙂
