This week, we focused on the letter Z & fun Halloween things!
Books we read:
When the Leaf Blew In
Zoogie Boogie
Devotions:
Philippians 1:3, 1:6, 2:13, 4:6
Centers:
We practiced our fine motor skills by looking for eyeballs in rice
We threaded spider rings
We sorted Halloween erasers
We did a #2 play doh mat
We did our “Itsy Bitsy Spider” nursery rhyme coloring page
We colored a zipper for our Z ABC page
We used disks to form a letter Z & to mark the zebra
We practiced cutting
We practiced zipping
We did a Z letter find
Art/Other:
We did our monthly name samples & drawings
We painted zebra stripes on Z
We had chapel time this week & learned the story of Noah’s Ark!
We sent home “quick kits” this week (Monday/Wednesday kids will get them on Monday) The name sample is meant to be left in the plastic sleeve, to allow name tracing & writing practice, using a dry erase marker. Please allow your child to practice often 🙂
