Welcome to Mrs. Kelli’s Preschool Classroom!
We had a very busy week! We focused on the color red & the letter M.
In Centers this week—on Monday & Tuesday, we colored our “Roses are Red” nursery rhyme page, sorted various objects by color on the magnet board, glued red paper on pajamas for “Llama Llama, Red Pajama” to go along with the book we read, put red circles together to form letter A, & used our fine motor skills to tear red paper.
Wednesday & Thursday, were very busy days! Our focus was the letter M. Centers included coloring a mouse for our M ABC page, tracing the letter M, counting chips one by one & putting them in muffin tins, gluing blueberries on muffins, & putting magnets on a M is for Moose page. We ate muffins to go with our book, “If You Give A Moose A Muffin”.
For art time this week, we did painting for our “Original Works” projects on both days!
We wrapped up Wednesday & Thursday in Chapel Time. We went into the church, & Mrs. Laura & Mrs. Kristina read a book about creation, and also used a felt board to illustrate the days of creation. We also learned a fun Creation song & dance!
Devotions this week were: Romans 8:31, 8:37, 8:39, & 12:2.
