Hello! We had a spooky fun week! On Tuesday we celebrated Halloween with all of you! Thank you so much for coming to help us!

On Tuesday we started like a normal day- in our centers we worked on the first page of our Halloween book, decorated our treat bags to trick or treat, counted spiders on a web, matched upper case to lower case letters, used a thumb tack to poke holes on Halloween lines.  As a class we worked on A Halloween Search and Find sheet. Lastly we enjoyed our Halloween Party!

Wednesday was a little different so some other classes could still have their Halloween parties! We didn’t do specials and played a rhyming game in class instead.

In our centers we wrote another page in our Halloween book, a bat sheet with circle stickers, stacked/counted circles on pumpkins, how many eyeballs can you stack using playdoh as glue, Halloween phonics and counting bats!  In the afternoon we played Bingo and did our monthly name sample.

On Thursday in our centers we finished up our Halloween books, used dot markers on a pumpkin, fall pattern cards, picked out spiders and bats from an orange sensory bin using Dracula teeth on our fingers, Which is heavier? Using a balance scale and several orange and fall items saw which was heavier.   In the afternoon we did a handprint project and we made our Spooky pumpkins!

Next week we start the month of November with the letter N!

Have a fun and safe Halloween and a great weekend!
