Hello! I hope you’re all staying warm!
This week we worked on the letter S.
Tuesday S was for Sneezy Snowman. In our centers we finished up our mid year evaluation, did a snowflake pin poke activity, color and cut star worksheet, roll and cover the numbers on a snowman, and wrote letters in shaving cream.
We also made a coffee filter snowflake and played number Bingo.
Wednesday was S is for Sports! We talked about different sports we enjoy. In our centers did our monthly name sample, dot and say words with the s sound, matched upper and lower case letters, and did Sports patterns. Wednesday was also specials day. We did a snowstorm in a jar science project and a build a snowman relay game.
Thursday was S is for Super Hero’s! We talked about what we would like our Super Power to be!
In our centers did a writing prompt about our super power, cut out the letter s and a cape, traced the letter s, played There’s a Yeti in my Spaghetti, and made letters with kinetic sand. We also made super Hero masks and did a super hero color by number.
Another week with lots of learning! Next week is letter x!
Thank you all for your flexibility with conferences! It definitely wasn’t ideal having them over the phone but we made the best of it. Thank you!
Have a great weekend! Stay warm!
Mrs. Kristina
