Hello! Happy Valentines Week! We learned about the letter V for Valentines this week!

Tuesday we started with our Valentines Party! Thank you to all who came out to volunteer and help us!

Before the party we did a V is for Vase craft, practiced our phone number and address,  did a fill in the missing letter page, laced a heart to hold a valentine treat, and made hearts with playdoh.
On Wednesday V was for veggies! In our centers we wrote different veggies names on dry erase boards, made a cutting sample, traced and wrote the letter V, did a fill in The missing number page, and used count and clip cards. In The afternoon we sorted fruits and veggies and played on scooters, and we worked on a letter V sounds worksheet. In our specials this week we had a phonics, sign language, and Spanish lesson. For Science we saw what would happen to conversation hearts if they were dropped in water, sprite, and vinegar.

Thursday was V is for Valentine! We colored our Feb. name sample, made a Valentine pattern necklace, counted to 15 and 16 with conversation hearts, did a write the room with Valentine words, made various pictures with Pom poms using tweezers. In the afternoon we got to paint with veggies since we didn’t have the time on Wed. We ended the day by passing out Valentine cards.

Next week is Letter L! Have a great weekend and a Happy Valentines Day!

Love,

Mrs. Kristina
