Hello! We had so much fun with our Grandparents this week! Thank you all for coming!
We worked on the letter G all week!
On Tuesday in our centers we colored our house for our grass project, did our G sounds w/s, counted out 18 star stickers for an 18 worksheet, using snap together pieces made the letters E, G, and U, and did a roll a sound game. After lunch we got to meet up with our Grandparents!
On Wednesday in our centers we put together our Sprinkle Kindness project. They are hanging in the hall at school. The kids had some great ideas on how to sprinkle kindness! We made a gumball machine by rolling a dice and adding that many “gumballs” with dot markers, counted shamrocks on a number mat, found the alphabet in a green sensory bin, and did letter E and G mazes on the light tables.
In the afternoon we played a selection of preschool games and painted with green and glitter on a shamrock.
Thursday we all wore green to school!
In our centers we did our monthly name sample, made green by mixing yellow and blue water, counted gold beads into numbered pots, did a letter matching game to spell animal words, made letters with fake colored noodles.
In the afternoon we made flower gardens with finger painted flowers and we also did a g sounds cut and paste. We also planted our grass seeds in our “front yards” The houses all came home with instructions on the back. I hope the kids enjoy watching their grass grow!
The kids have been working so hard, they need this week to rest and relax before we prepare for the end of the year! I hope they all have a fun Spring Break!
See you all in a week!
