Hello! Happy Spring! For the first time in a long time we got the kids outside today! It was so nice!

We started our week by celebrating our Kings and Queens! Thank you to all of you for coming out!
Before the program we had some time for centers. We colored and cut a King project, made our names in playdoh, made a sunshine craft, Traced numbers and letters, and sorted bears by size and color. After centers we had lunch and then directly to meet our parents.

On Wed we learned about Earth Day. We talked about recycling and taking of the earth.

in our centers we made the earth out of a coffee filter, count and spell our names, Used Earth day mats to build with Legos, made the letter K out of rubber bands, and traced the letter K.

In the afternoon we worked on our end of the year evaluations.

Thursday was K is for Kite. We used dot markers to make our names, letter K sounds worksheet, Letter K book, matched keys with lower case letters to the capital letters on locks, and made patterns with beads on a kite string. We spent a lot of time outside coloring with chalk and flying DIY kites. (Plastic bags with a string) The kids loved being able to get out and enjoy some fresh air!

Hopefully you all have a nice weekend and can get out and enjoy the sunshine!
