Hello! Welcome to the week of all things P!

On Tuesday we had a pretend pizza party!

In our centers we wrote and drew our favorite pizza, cut and glued pizza slices from small to big, using small wooden sticks made pictures using picture cards, using recipe cards made pizzas with shapes, and made the letter P with playdoh.
In the afternoon we found our letters on a pizza- basically bingo. We also decorated a small pumpkin to take home. We had Chapel and listened to the Parable of the Pumpkin and learned how God cleans us up and places a light inside for the world to see just like we do with a Jack-O- Lantern.

Wednesday we got to hang out in our PJs! In our centers we made a Pumpkin Sun-catcher, found our letter Ps in a quick kit, Traced and colored our shapes to make a small book, using a small flashlight we found letters hiding beneath pumpkins and traced the ones we found. We also had specials. This weeks Science lesson took us back to the farm with the 3 Little pigs. We learned why the first 2 houses were blown over and why the one made of stone stayed up. At the end they got to blow down paper houses unless of course they got the bag filled with stones!!

After lunch we got to watch Spookly the Square Pumpkin and eat Puff corn! We also worked on our P sounds worksheet.

Wednesday we left the classroom and met at the Pumpkin Patch! We lucked out with Great weather and had so much fun!

Next week we get to wear costumes and have a Harvest Party! Can’t wait to see all my friends dressed up! Have a great weekend!
