We had a fun Pete the Cat week doing different activities and got to have our first field trip to County Line Orchard!
Monday: Students started their day with a letter Aa item color page. The books we read today were Pete and the Bad Banana and Pete’s Big Lunch. Our centers included writing our names on the doodle boards (practice at home also!), coloring Pete’s buttons the correct color, color/cut/paste buttons and got our handprints for our Original Works.
Tuesday: County Line Orchard Field Trip
Wednesday: The class started off by coloring the four different size ovals. We finished this activity as one of our centers and cut them all out. We also made apples using our paint dabbers, practiced writing Aa’s and Mm’s in QKs and colored our letter Mm item color page. We also completed a coloring the apples in our name page and coloring the correct number of seeds in each box. Our Pete books today were CaveCat Pete and Go Pete Go!
Thursday: We started our day off with practicing our names in QKs. The Pete books today were Pete at the beach, Scuba Cat and I love my White Shoes. We cut and pasted and created our own Pete the Cats. We also attempted to write Pete the Cat on our creations. The book I love my school shoes helped in completing our shoe sequencing activity.
We have some fun things lined up for next month. Picture day, firefighters, pumpkin patch, Halloween party, chapel, crafts and much more! Looking forward to another fun week! Have a great weekend! Message me on Group Me with any questions you may have!
