We had a great week! We started the week with pictures and a visit from the St. John Fire Department! The kids loved their Safety Presentation! Many Thanks to the Firefighters who took the time to visit our school! We appreciate you!
On Mon/Tuesday we didn’t have much time after the Fire Safety presentation so we played in the classroom and got caught up on any work we had. We read Pete the Cat Goes to the Firehouse.
Wednesday/Thursday was all about the Letter O. We made an Owl craft to hang in the hall at school and we read The Tickly Octopus.
In our centers we colored our O ABC page, put orange on the letter O, strengthened our finger grip muscles by tearing orange paper, made the color orange with red and yellow food coloring, used magnets to find and mark the letter O.
Next week we head to the Pumpkin Patch! I’m excited to see everyone outside of the school building! Have a great weekend!
