Hello! We had a great week! We packed our Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. We are so thankful for your generosity in helping us fill 100 boxes!!

On Monday/Tuesday we worked on our Shoeboxes and talked about why we put them together.

In our centers we practiced stringing beads on a pipe cleaner, marked numbers by counting pictures, made rectangles with rubber bands, practiced using scissors, colored the feather part of our turkey.

On Wed/Tbursday we worked on The letter T. We read There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Truck and made a Name Train.

In our centers we colored our T ABC page, made tanagram puzzles, made a T is for Tree, put our turkey together, wrote a T on writing board.
We also went to Chapel Wed/Thursday where we learned about Operation Christmas Child. We watched a short video about how the boxes travel to get to their special child.

We will start next week with the letter z. Children are allowed to bring in their favorite stuffed zoo animal.

Have a great weekend!

Mrs. Kristina
