It was a short week due to the snow days but we still managed to get a lot done.
Wednesday was black ad white day. We learned about Penguins; we primarily focused on the emperor penguin and read a great book, The Emperor’s Egg. The children created penguin bracelets and were encouraged to make a pattern with the beads. We played some opposite games which we will continue into next week.
Thursday was all about polar bears. the children did polar bear exercises, learned some fun polar bear facts and heard a polar bear story by Jan Brett. We will continue to explore Jan Brett stories next week.
our letter this week was “W” for winter weather!
I look forward to conferences on Friday.
