This was letter Ii week, And we had so much fun.

Tuesday was Ii for igloo. The class got to count and build their own igloos using reusable ice cubes, made a polar bear out of their handprint, went ice fishing for letters, and worked in our number 13 and 14 recognition .
Wednesday was indoor ice skating! I posted some pictures in the GroupMe app of the kids getting to “ ice skate” during big room. This is one thing I look forward to all year. They always enjoy that. During centers we also, laced some ice skates for fine motor, we played a modified game with dominos, and did our letter Ii cut and paste. We also had specials in the afternoon.

Thursday we celebrated the letter Ii with ICE cream!! Boy were they excited . To start the day we used scoops of ice cream and cones to match up some rhyming words, practiced writing the letter Ii, did an ice cream poke a page, and measured ice cream cones with our unifix cubes. Of course this lead us to having our ice cream snack and then we finished with our monthly chapel . They learned about Joseph and the technicolor dream coat ?
