Welcome Back! I hope you all had a relaxing break full of fun Family time!
Mon/Tuesday we did school on the computer focusing on the Letter S. I was so excited to hear so many kids come back and tell me what they worked on!! Thank you parents for taking the time to work with them!
Wed/Thursday we were back in the building!! Yay! We focused on the colors black and white and did a little review of the letter S!
We read Penguins and The ABC Hunt! We painted with black and white paint on black and white paper.
In our centers we colored our S ABC page, used straws and string to form the letter s, found black jewels in a bowl of white rice, used spoons to scoop out fake snow, counted magnets on the white board.
The kids did great jumping back into routine! I was so happy to see them and hear their Christmas break stories! I really missed them!
I am ready for the second half of the year! This is when we typically see the most growth and I cannot wait!!
