On Monday, the week started off with a visit from a leprechaun.  The classroom was left in a disarray and gold pieces were all over the room!  The children had to find 10 gold coins.  They traded them in for 2 friendship coins (they were told to give one away  . . .).  We also did some fun St. Patrick’s math and art activities.

On Tuesday, the class worked on writing and identifying the letter “U”.  They heard the story The Umbrella by Jan Brett, cut and glued down an umbrella and played with green play dough.

The grandparent show on Wednesday was enjoyed by all!

Thursday was all about unicorns and rainbows.  The class made rainbow necklaces and listened to a unicorn story in circle.

Have a great week off.
