Letter Tt week!! We had a terrific week.
Tuesday was Turkey Tuesday! We enjoyed lots of Turkey centers including, Turkey beginning sound match ups, some letter Tt writing and added in some number 10 recognition pages. For art the kids made those cute handprint Turkeys that went home Thursday. This is one of my favorite keepsakes even for my own kids!! We also made our monthly letters out of playdoh which is great for letter recognition and to strengthen those fine motor muscles in their hands.
Wednesday was triangle and transportation day. We used some transportation puzzles where the kids had to put the pieces in numerical order to create the picture! We did our letter Tt cut and paste we do for every letter and they are getting so good at doing this independently . Of course we had specials and they also seem to really enjoy those. They learn phonics, math or science, Spanish, and sign language
Thursday we practiced thankful Thursday. We made turkeys and the kids got to write four things they are thankful for. These will get sent home on Tuesday for you to enjoy. These were multi step turkeys and the kids did awesome! We did some Turkey letter writing as well. They got to pull turkeys from a bucket and find and trace that letter, Upper and lower case . We used Turkey with numbers on them and the class had to use playdoh to give that Turkey feathers.
Next week are only in school on Monday and Tuesday, only Tuesday for our class ! We will have our thanksgiving party Tuesday and I can’t wait!
