The marvelous letter Mm. It was a short week with our field trip on Tuesday but we made the most of it.
First I hope everyone had a great time on our field trip. We had the only class with all kids in attendance and it made me so happy 🥰
Wednesday was based around our book “ If You Give A Moose A Muffin” We used muffins with letters on them to work on letter recognition. I would call out a letter and the first to find it, fed it to my moose. They also made their own muffins and counted how many “ blueberries “ they used . Of course I think the highlight of the day was getting to eat muffins at school!!!
Thursday was Mm for mustache. The kids practiced their cutting skills to cut out mustaches, worked more fine motor muscles to hole punch all the letter M’s they could find, and measured mustaches using blocks! At the end of the day we played pin the mustache on the teacher. I spun them around 3 times and they had to place a mustache on a picture of me . One of my favorite things we do during the year.
Next week we start out learning the letter Rr.
