Hello! We had a great week! Our caterpillars arrived this week and we are watching the process of them turning to Butterflies!

On Monday/Tuesday we worked on the Letter K. We read Kite Day and painted our graduation hat.

In our centers we colored our K ABC page, shaped kinetic sand in the letter K, practiced cutting, colored a picture of Dad, and sorted bears by size and color.
On Wed/Thurs we worked on the octagon shape. We talked about looking for STOP signs and noticing they were all Octagons.

We practiced our ABC recognition, colored our nursery rhyme-There Was an Old Woman who Lived in a Shoe. We traced octagons, did shape puzzles, number recognition and shape matching cards.

We also had chapel this week and heard the story of David and Goliath. Mrs. Laura made an awesome 9ft Goliath and the kids tried to get him between the eyes with a foam ball and spoon Just as David did with a slingshot and 5 stones. They all enjoyed it and hopefully will remember that “Even if Im little I can do Big things with God on my side”

our schedule had to change a bit next week so we will start the week with the letter Q. For those who attend on Tuesday there was a packet that went home!
Have a great weekend! Hopefully the sun can stay out!
