Welcome Back! I hope you had a restful break and a blessed Easter! We are now in the home stretch of the school year!
Tuesday/Wed. We did Easter related activities in the classroom and we counted to 10!
We practiced writing our name and we read Count! The kids had homework too! They were told to go home and count their toes! I had many children come back and say they had 10 toes!
In our centers we counted beads into eggs, built block towers on numbered eggs, an Easter color sheet, painted a cross, found our letters in a Easter sensory bin.
On Thursday we continued to count to 10! We read 10 Puppies on the Bed. We played with the light brite, little legos, and colored/cut pictures.
In our centers we practiced our name, played with play doh on number mats, number clip cards, played a car racing game. Matched our letters on the white board.
We had a great week despite it being so wet and rainy outside. I can tell the kids are anxious to play outside again!
