Hello. Kind of a different week at school this week. Thank for being so flexible and understanding with the changes we had to make.
Monday we worked on the letter Q! We read about the Hungry Caterpillar as we watched our caterpillars turn into cocoons.
In our centers we colored our Q ABC page, Find the letter Q quick kit, ABC dot to dot, writing boards and decorated a paper quilt.
Thank you to all the T/Th kids that brought all the Q homework back! It was a great turn out! If you didn’t turn it in, it’s not to late!!! Have your child bring it in for an extra Treasure Box item!
Wed and Thur we celebrated Earth Day at school. We learned about recycling and why it is important, we practiced K is for Kick as we kicked recycling into garbage bins.
We practiced writing our names and saw the caterpillars in the chrysalis form. They will be transferred to the butterfly next as we await the butterfly’s to emerge!
We are so excited to celebrate King and Queen Day with you next week.
I will be out of the classroom until May 7th. Mrs. Wendy will be teaching for me.
