Hello! We finished our first week of ABC Boot camp! We reviewed the first half of the alphabet this week.
On Tuesday in our centers we did a C sounds worksheet, counted ducks in a pond, matched apples in apple tree, built with blocks, and some letter matching. In the afternoon we did a cutting sample, and a paper tearing Bee craft.
On Wed we started practicing our songs for graduation and got to meet some of the kids we might see in Kindergarten!
On Thursday we started an ABC project that we will finish over the span of a couple days. We also got to watch our butterflies get set free. In our centers we worked on our ABC project, prepared an Autograph sheet, colored in our letters, played an ice cream game, and made numbers and letters on Geo boards in the afternoon we signed our autographs for our friends! We also did a Following Directions project.
I can’t believe we are down to 2 weeks. I’m hoping in the next 2 weeks to get outside, and play some games the kids have enjoyed. I really just want all the kids to have fun together before they are off to Kindergarten!
