Hello! We started the week wearing yellow and learning about the letter Y. We ended with the Letter B.
On Monday/Tuesday we wore yellow and read Bedtime for Yeti. We also did some handprint art.
In our centers we colored our Y ABC page, traced Y on the white board, made some King and Queen crafts, and strung beads.
On Wed/Thursday we worked on the letter B. We read Bad Dog and we did more handprint Art.
In our centers we colored our B ABC page, put ball erasers on the letter B, traced butterfly lines and the letter B, sorted and counted Bears, and made a page about Dad.
I would like to encourage all of you to sit and color or write with your child this weekend. Notice their finger grip and correct them if they don’t use the pencil/crayon correctly. We are still having trouble with this and it is so important in the early stages of writing!!! Thank you!
