This week FLEW by and next week I’m sure will be even faster! We finished up all our parents’ gifts and will pack them all up on Monday. The kids are looking forward to giving them to you after our Christmas Play on Tuesday. I hope you all enjoy all the gifts they have created for you! We covered the letter Jj this week along with reviewing our numbers 11 and 12 for the month.

Monday: Jolly Jellybeans – Start up today consisted of having the kids work on their names and letters A-Z in their QKs. We completed a roll the dice/color the jellybean activity once we finished up a parent craft. The books today were How to Trick Your Christmas Elf and our letter Jj Alpha tales story.

Tuesday: Jumping Jellyfish – Students completed a candy cane page after checking in upon arrival. We also cut and made our Jerry the Jellyfish zoophonics craft. Today was our last short program practice. The books we read were How to Catch an Elf, Santa Duck, and 10 Things You Never Knew About Santa Claus.

Wednesday: J is for Jesus! – The kids came into class, found their pouches, and colored the Christmas page at their seat. We did some letter Jj tracing, along with a letter J/Jesus bingo dabber page. This went home on Thursday since it needed to dry at the end of class. We also read three great bools Turkey Duck, The Elves Night Before Christmas, and There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bell.

Thursday: Jingling Into Christmas – Classes came in today and colored a Jesus is the Reason page. We had a full Christmas Program run through today. This took some time to get the kids in places and understand where they will be at on the stage and prior to their turn. The book we read was Little Critter’s Twas the Night Before Christmas.

Next week is our last week before we are on Christmas break. If you have any questions, please let me know. Have a great weekend! See everyone back on Monday for Red and Green Day!
