One more week until Christmas! WOW!!! This week we covered the letter Jj and finished up all our goodies for the students to give to the adults they love! We hope you enjoy the gifts as much as they did making them for you all!

Monday – We started the day with a review page for last weeks letter Cc, letter find. The kids worked with a partner completing a jellybean dice game that they enjoyed. We also got some painting done to finish up another secret project and got some things glued together on another. The books read today were Pig the Elf and It’s Christmas, David.

Tuesday – Students started the day by practicing their names in their QKs. The book read today was How to Trick a Christmas Elf. We created our zoophonics Jerry the Jellyfish. We also had a full run through of our Christmas play which should be great next week!

Wednesday – The class started with a review letter Cc color page with different items that begin with Cc. We read two books today, How to Catch an Elf and There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bell. The kids created a snowman foam ornament that they took home today. They also completed a J is for Jesus page, which we turned into a following directions coloring activity.

Thursday – We started off the day by coloring a jellyfish page. We got everything finished today and all our goodies for the parents are ready to go to you on Tuesday after the Christmas play! We will pack our gift bags on Monday, and we hope you enjoy the gifts! The books read were Mooseltoe and Llama llama Holiday Drama. The students had worked so hard on everything that we rewarded them with a little extra big room time, which they enjoyed. One last thing we made was a candy cane and holly, which they colored/cut/glued together.

Our Christmas Play is on Tuesday! The morning class is at 9:30 am and the afternoon class is at 12:30pm. Kid come to school like they normally do, and students will NOT need their school bag on the day of the play. Students are also going home with their parent/adults there for them after the play is over.
