Hello! It was a week of Christmas fun! Lots of excitement was running through the school this week!

On Tuesday we finished up our Christmas treats to give to you! The kids have worked very hard on all of them! I hope you enjoy them!

We also practiced our writing skills with Merry Christmas, used unifix cubes to measure pictures of Christmas items, made shape ornaments with floam, sorted sounds by letter. In the afternoon we put stickers on a 10 frame and did a Christmas following directions project.

Wednesday was our Christmas program! Mrs. Tiffany helped me out and did centers with the kids in the morning! The kids did a color- by – number, a floor puzzle, counted chips to put on a Christmas tree,  played a game called quick cups- you had to put your colored cups in the same order as show  on a picture, and put stickers on a Christmas tree by number.
After lunch they performed for all of you! I heard they all did great!!

Thursday was a kick back fun day! In our centers we did a color, cut, glue back together project. Some kids didn’t finish so it came home, we played Ants in Your Pants, Barrel of Monkeys, and a Tetris style stacking game. We used flash lights to find words and we had to say the beginning sound and we did Nativity puzzles.

At the end of the day we did a book exchange and watched The Grinch or played in the Big room. It was an easy relaxing way to ease into Christmas break!

Thank you to all of you for your generous gifts this week, you are all so kind! I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and restful break! I can’t wait to see you back in The New Year!

With Love,

Mrs. Kristina
