Hello! We started off the week the Letter L and ended with the heart shape!
We also had chapel this week where the teachers shared some of their favorite songs from growing up in church!
Mon/Tuesday we focused on the Letter L. We read the Grouchy Ladybug and made a LadyBug craft.
In our centers we colored the L ABC page, counted Lollipops, put little legos on the Letter L, played with Lincoln Logs, traced Lady Bug lines. We listened to the Lollipop song and got a lollipop to take home!
On Wed/Thur we reviewed the heart shape. The heart is a popular shape among littles so it really was just a fun review.
We read It’s raining Hearts and dot painted around a heart template.
In our centers we cut a heart, used kinetic sand with heart cookie cutters, number clip cards. Filled a cup with hearts using tweezers, and traced a heart.
We ended the week with chapel. We introduced 4 songs to the kids- Jesus Loves Me, He’s Got The Whole World in His Hands, This Little Light of Mine and The B-I-B-L-E. It was so fun teaching the kids these songs that I sang as a little girl! I hope they can sing them at home for you!
Have a great weekend!
