Hello This week was all about the Letter L!
On Tuesday was L is for Love bugs!
In our centers we 1. Made a love bug love letter! Keep an eye out in Your mail box for a letter coming home! 2. Ladybug roll and cover dice game. 3. Used small colored wooden sticks to make ladybugs following a picture. 4. Made the letter L with little legos. 5. Made a Love bug path with perler beads.
In the afternoon we made a love bug craft.
On Wed L was for Love Letters and Lollipops.
in our centers we wrote another letter. This was to send to new students attending ABC in the Fall. We did a cut/glue/sort project with different sized hearts. Traced the letter L, using snap together shapes made the letter L, made the letter L in sand.
We also had specials on Wednesday where we had a short lesson in Spanish, Sign Language, and Phonics. We also saw a video and experiment with Volcanos.
In the afternoon we did a count the room looking for shapes. We also completed an L sounds worksheet.
Thursday we practiced our Last Names.
We made a caterpillar using the letters of our last names. A love bug number order sheet, traced numbers in a quick kit, lock and key ABC/ sounds match, find and rainbow write our last name.
In the afternoon we made a lollipop craft and did a Following Directions project.
