We had a different week having two days as E-learning via Google Classroom and two days in person. In the case of bad weather, this is how we do things from here on out. If you did not have your child go through the online activities on Monday or Tuesday, they stay posted and can be looked at for the next few days. If you didn’t see an email, check your spam folder. Mrs. Trish sent out the links for every parent to click on their teachers’ class page.

Wednesday: Black and White Day – Classes started with a Winter Fun color page. Students also created their Willie the Weasel Zoophonics animal and two Ww activity pages. One was coloring all the pictures of the Ww items and then finding the pictures inside the W that have the beginning sound of the w. The books read today were Curious George Windy Delivery and Wonkey Donkey’s Big Surprise. We also read through our AlphaTale- Worm’s Wagon. We also continued doing some evaluations.
Thursday: Wacky Hair Day – We had some good hairstyles today! Students came in and colored/decorated and cut out their mittens. It was on cardstock, so it was a bit trickier for some cutting it out. After returning from big room, we made penguins and had fish across their arms that created their names. These turned out cute and are on display outside our classroom on the wall. The book today was Wally Does Not Want a Haircut. We continued with our middle-of-the-year evaluations, and I should be done with the few things we have left on Monday.
Parent teacher conferences are next Friday. Please respect our time limits and if you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them then or give me a heads up prior and I can gather anything you may need or want. Have a warm weekend and I will see you all back on Monday and parents on Friday.
