We had a great week! We rounded out January by working on the star shape and started February with a focus on the #6.
Mon/Tues we worked on the Star. We read How to Catch a Star, and marble roll painted a Star.
In our centers we colored our nursery rhyme sheet, looked for stars in a sensory bin, counted and colored stars, used Star stickers, and wrapped yarn on a popsicle stick Star.
Wed/Thursday was all about the number 6! In our centers we worked on a number 6 maze quick kit, put together small chain links, counted to 6 with stamps and stickers, matched ABCs and played a Number Pop game.
We read Ten in a Den and made a Valentine Card to send home later.
Tonight is the preview night for parents to come look at our school and talk to a few teachers! If you know anyone interested we’d love for them to stop by! Friday is our Open House for Parents to register for next year!
