Hello! We had a great week! We focused on the Rhombus (diamond) shape, the letter G, and the color Green!
Monday/ Tuesday we worked on The Rhombus shape. We read Pete The Cat- Go Pete Go! We also made a flower with Rhombuses.
In our centers we Traced our alphabet, cut out playdoh diamonds, cut out diamonds, found diamonds in a sensory bin, and counted beads on a miniature kite string.
On Wed/Thursday we worked on the Letter G and color green. We read Emeraldalicious and we planted grass seeds. We practiced cutting green paper to make pretend grass.
In our centers we colored our G ABC page, put green shamrocks on the letter G, matched lower case and capital letters, mixed blue and yellow water to make green, found the letter G’s in a green sensory bin.
We also had Chapel on Wed/Thursday. We told the Story of Easter using Resurrection eggs.
Next week we celebrate our Grandparents! I can’t wait to meet all of them!
