OnE w wEeK lEfT! AHHHHHHHHHH! This is crazy we have one week left of this school year! We had some fun activities this week and got to see our butterflies get released also! We hope they come and hang out at the playground when they are flying around!

Monday: Review Letter Sounds – Students started their day with their end of the year autograph page. We created some Mother’s Day items and also made our own popsicles! (Paper of course!) We had graduation practice as well. The books today were The Pigeon Needs a Bath, Wordy Birdy, and This Book is Not Going to be Fun. We did go outside at the end of the day for a short bit!

Tuesday: Book Day! – The kids ALL brought in books, and I was a reading machine! Almost all the books brought in were ones we had not read in class this year. I think we only had 2 repeats! Morning class good ones were The Pigeon has to go to School and Just Go To Bed Little Critter. The afternoon class winner The Book with No Pictures. These books were good ones and kept the kid’s attention! We also had graduation practice.

Wednesday: Fun in the Sun! – Today was when we released the butterflies! The kids enjoyed watching them fly away in the sun! We hope they come back to visit us next week when we have field day! We also had graduation practice. The book today was Goodnight, Already! We also completed an A-Z tracing and matching page.

Thursday: Rainbow Day/Wear your favorite color – Students came in the favorite color, and I guessed which color was each student’s favorite. They started the day with a flower count and color page (we struggled a bit with this activity!) Today was our last mini graduation practice and we also completed an umbrella color/count page that the students worked on independently and we went over in class. The book today was How I Saved My Parents from Green Beans.

Please message me if you have any questions regarding this last week or graduation!
