This was a short week, but we made the most of it and had some fun!
We had our Thanksgiving party on Monday. Thank you to the parents/grandparents that were able to come and help out, I know the kids enjoy having you in school with them and we appreciate the extra hands! Kids enjoyed an Oreo turkey snack, created a popsicle turkey craft, and lastly enjoyed playing some games with friends. Tuesday we completed a thankful plate by cutting and pasting different food items onto our plates and we also watched A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving! The books we read were Pearl and Squirrel Give Thanks and Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving!
School pictures went home which turned out great. The class composite pictures will be coming at a later date if you ordered that item. Also gifts/items that were purchased through the Original Works class craft were sent home also.
I hope everyone has a safe, healthy and fun Thanksgiving break enjoying time with family and friends!!! I will see everyone back on Monday to really get into our Christmas season with crafts, songs, and play practices! Enjoy the break!
