Hello. I can’t believe we are in November! We really have made a lot of progress since the beginning of the year! The kids are learning about the classroom around them and also making friends!
On MondayTuesday we practiced Letter N. We read a couple books about Noodles the Dog. We also started on some of our many Christmas treats to take home in December!
In our centers we colored our N ABC page, found the N with magnetic discs and magnetic wands, made noodle/name necklaces, found numbers in a sensory bin, and traced our names.
On Wed/ Thursday we talked about rectangles and the things we could find in our home that have a rectangular shape. We read The Talking Crayon Box and painted with green paint.
In our centers we colored our monthly nursery rhyme- 5 Little Pigs, made rectangles with playdoh, used rubber bands to make rectangles, sorted squares and rectangles, and used Bingo dot markers to fill in a rectangle.
Next week we will work on filling our Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child! Thank you to all who donated.
Have a great weekend!
Mrs. Kristina
