Hello!  We had a great week! We worked on the letter P and ended up at the Pumpkin Patch! Such a fun time seeing you all there!

Tuesday was P is for Pizza!   In our centers we colored and matched letters on a pizza sheet, practiced writing what our favorite pizza topping was, counted “pepperoni” to put on a pizza, formed play doh into a P, found the words that started with P.

In the afternoon we made a shape pizza and counted our shapes and did a following directions project.

Wednesday we were cozy in our PJs all day! We had specials so we got a lesson in phonics, sign language, Spanish, and learned that pumpkins float during science!  In our centers we made a Spookly Pumpkin Patch of different shapes and colors, found the Ps on a popcorn worksheet, counted pumpkin seeds, and using writing tablets wrote the letter P!

In the afternoon we got a treat and watched Spookly the Square Pumpkin while eating Pirates Booty puffed corn!
Thursday we spent the day at the Pumpkin Patch!

Thank you for a great week! Next week we focus on the letter R!

Have a great weekend!
