Hello! Another short week! We spent a lot of time on the Letter R this week!
On Mon/Tuesday we made a handprint rainbow craft and read the Story of Noah’s Ark.
in our centers we colored our R ABC page, matched Pom poms on a rainbow shape, finished our rainbow craft, found the letter R, and made shapes on a rainbow salt tray.
We also had Chapel. We read The Pumpkin Patch Parable. Just as we pick a pumpkin, clean it out, and add a light to it, Jesus does the same for his children. The children got the opportunity to touch the pulp and seeds of a pumpkin to indeed feel it was “yucky” before it was cleaned out just like we are before God cleans us up. It was a great story as we head into Fall break.
On Wed we stuck with the letter R. We read Rappy the Raptor and we used Bingo dot markers on the Letter R.
In our centers we did a Trace, color, Find R worksheet, used bears to make patterns, traced our name, matched rectangle blocks, and put race cars on the Letters F, O, P, and R.
I hope you all have a restful Fall Break. On Monday/Tuesday we will have our Harvest parties in class. Can’t wait to see all the fun costumes!
Have a great weekend!
