Hello! We had a great week getting to know each other while we talked “All About Me” We ended the week at the Apple Orchard. It started out a dark stormy day but we made the best of it and went home with some delicious apples! (Maybe some donuts too!)
On Tuesday in our centers we filled in our first initial with Lego stickers, wrote our name, and drew a picture, practiced cutting out a circle and wrote the word circle, made play doh faces, copied our face as we looked in a mirror, and matched lower case and capital letters. In the afternoon we colored/cut/and glued a picture of a boy/girl into a puzzle.
On Wed we did a writing project of what we want to be when we grew up and drew a picture, worked on an original works project, used our fine motor skills and strung beads, built our family in Lego minifigures, Traced oval and circle shapes. In the afternoon we finished our Original Works project and talked about the people in our family as we drew a picture.
Thursday we spent the morning at the Apple Orchard! It was a bummer we couldn’t pick apples or see the animals but we managed to have a good time anyways!
Next week we officially start working on our letters and sounds! We start with A is for Apple and Astronauts!
